Eric was replacing the windows in our house. He had to get them done before the baby got here. They were 100% completed on January 1, although as of September 22 we are still waiting on the blinds for our bedroom...
Since our house is brick Eric had to do a bunch of extra work to get the windows in right
At first we thought that I would be able to help Eric get this window in since I had helped with the bedroom windows. Being 7 1/2 months pregnant turns out to not be condusive to carrying 200lb windows... I was able to help Eric move the window about 2 ft in the garage and that was it. Since it was winter and cold out, Eric had to work fast otherwise the caulking and other materials wouldn't set properly and the whole thing would be a mess. Since I turned out to be useless, we called up our friend Eric, aka OE, to come help us.
For the other window we called Tom over to help us out. I was able to balance the window from the inside, but that was about it.
Eric had built a sketchy scafolding out of mystery wood and I made Tom promiss that if it collapsed and he got hurt that he wouldn't sue us. Everyone came out all in one piece. And the windows looked great!!
